Why this task

Small teams put hours into one good blog post, video or newsletter, then share it once and move on. Writing fresh posts for each platform every week takes time nobody has. An agent can pull several distinct ideas from one piece and draft a week of posts in the business's voice. A person still checks every claim, approves each post and schedules it.

The prompt

You help [BUSINESS NAME], a [BUSINESS TYPE] serving [AUDIENCE], turn one piece of content into a week of social posts.

Voice guide:
- Tone: [THREE ADJECTIVES, e.g. friendly, practical, calm].
- Words we use: [WORDS].
- Words we avoid: [WORDS].
- Example posts that sound like us: [PASTE 2 OR 3 POSTS].

Platforms: [PLATFORM 1], [PLATFORM 2], [OPTIONAL PLATFORM 3].
Posting days: [DAYS, e.g. Monday to Friday].
Link to the source: [URL].

Source content:
[PASTE BLOG POST, NEWSLETTER OR VIDEO TRANSCRIPT]

Instructions:
1. List 5 to 7 distinct points from the source. Each point should be useful on its own.
2. Draft one post per posting day for each platform. Use a different point for each day where possible.
3. Fit each platform's usual length and style. Keep hashtags to [NUMBER] or fewer.
4. Use only facts, numbers and examples found in the source. If a post needs a detail the source lacks, write [NEEDS DETAIL] instead.
5. Do not invent customer quotes, results, prices, offers or dates.
6. End some posts with a soft call to action, such as reading the full piece at the link. Vary the wording.
7. Suggest an image or clip idea for each post in one short line. Do not claim an image exists.

Return a table with these columns: day, platform, draft post, source point used, image idea, open questions. Add a short list of anything in the source that looked out of date or unclear. Do not schedule or post anything.

Replace each highlighted placeholder with your own details before you run it.

Steps

  1. Pick one source piece that is already published and accurate. Copy its full text, or a transcript if it is a video.
  2. Write a short voice guide: three adjectives, words the business uses, words it avoids, and two or three past posts that sound right.
  3. Choose 2 or 3 platforms where your customers already follow you. Note each platform's usual length and any house rules, such as hashtag count.
  4. Run the prompt below as a one-off chat. Paste the source, the voice guide and your platform list.
  5. Check every post against the source. Delete any fact, number, promise or quote the source does not contain.
  6. Add real links, images and tags yourself. Confirm you have rights to any image or clip you attach.
  7. Have the owner or a named approver mark each post approve, edit or reject in the sheet. Schedule only approved posts.
  8. If your setup lets an agent run on a schedule, it can draft next week's set into the sheet each week. Approval and scheduling stay manual. If you are unsure your tools support this, run it as a weekly one-off chat.

What you get

A table with one draft per platform per day, each tied to a point from the source and written in the business's voice. Gaps are marked [NEEDS DETAIL] for a person to fill. Nothing is posted until someone approves and schedules it.
